Los Roques with kids

Los Roques is ideal for families: the water is warm and shallow at many cays, there is no traffic and everything is a few steps away. Here is how to plan it.

Kids' rates

• Ages 0 to 3: usually free of accommodation charges.

• Children and teens: special rates depending on the plan (for example, in January €65 for ages 4 to 10 and €85 for ages 11 to 16, per night).

• On the boat, children under 4 travel free on a parent's lap.

Family rooms

At Posada Eva we have rooms for 2, 3-4 and up to 5-6 guests, with private bathroom and air conditioning. See the rooms.

Best cays for kids

• Madrisquí: very close to Gran Roque with calm water.

• Francisquí: shallow natural pools.

• Dos Mosquises: see turtles at the conservation center (included in the Cayo de Agua tour).

Meals

There is a kids' menu (chicken tenders with fries, burgers) and the kitchen adapts dishes if you tell us in advance. See the menu.

What to pack

Biodegradable sunscreen, a cap, a rash guard and basic medicines: there are no large pharmacies on the island. Check our packing list.
